Job Overview:

Between 32-40 hours per week - must be flexible and be prepared to work at least one day during the weekend.

We require experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments to join our busy store in Leamington Spa.

The Supervisor / Manager will be responsible for driving performance and results to maximise sales. They must have a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of stock related processes and have excellent leadership skills in order to get the best out of your team, whilst having the drive and desire to deliver great customer service.

Core duties include:

To ensure integrity and accuracy of financial aspects, and that the Company procedures are followed, for example, banking, stock control, and that audits and checks can be verified to Company management and third parties.

Ordering in goods, and supplies for the shop, ensuring adequate details are recorded and passed to Head office to substantiate all financial transactions, and within authorisation limits.

To ensure procedures are in place to demonstrate stock control.

Human Resources – conducting staff inductions and appraisals, supporting and training staff and on-going coaching and development. To record accurate time sheet data and any other personnel changes and advise to Head Office staff in time for payroll processing.

To organise the staffing of the shop, communicating work shifts to staff and ensuring staff absences are covered and holidays are co-ordinated.

To ensure Health and Safety requirements are satisfied and that the importance of a safe environment is communicated to staff, and that records are maintained in accordance with legislation. This includes maintaining a clean, safe shop and back office area, free from debris, trailing wires, etc.

Previous retail management experience in a fast paced environment is essential along with a proven track record of delivering sales against key targets and contributing towards business development. Highly effective communication skills with the ability to develop performing teams would be desirable.
