Magical Story is a gift & homeware retailer, specialising in fun & quirky gifts & seasonal decorations.
Due to popular demand we are in the process of setting up numerous temporary pop-up stores until January 2021 in various locations to spread the joy of Christmas. This will add to the existing successful stores already in place.
Santa is busy identifying the perfect locations to showcase our beautiful Christmas gifts however in the meantime, we need to find our perfect Christmas helpers. We require experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments to join our stores. The desired teams will help create the perfect shopping experience by always being ready to help, willing to go the extra mile with a friendly smile, resulting in our customers leaving with a lasting impression for all the right reasons.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving performance and results to maximise sales. They must have a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of stock related processes and have excellent leadership skills in order to get the best out of your team, whilst having the drive and desire to deliver great customer service.
Previous retail management experience in a fast paced environment is essential along with a proven track record of delivering sales against key targets and contributing towards business development. Highly effective communication skills with the ability to develop performing teams would be desirable.
The Supervisor will be passionate about our products and creating a sense of fun to inspire and motivate the team. They will work closely with the Branch Manager to maximise sales in an atmosphere that creates a buzz on the shop floor for both your customers and staff. Previous Management or supervisory experience is essential along with an inspiring personality to inspire the team and to create a fun, energized environment.
The Retail Assistants will be an essential part of the team by supporting the smooth running of the shop, and maintaining the shop standards. Duties will include providing excellent customer service at all times, assist in changing displays of shop stock, receiving deliveries, unpacking, pricing and re-shelving or storing stock, keeping the shop and displays clean and tidy at all times. Previous retail experience would be desirable, preferable in a fast paced environment.
